Miniartextil 2018 Humans

In the uncomfortable paradox that is our present, old and new rights are enshrined in law, yet there is great and increasing suffering. There are food shortages when there has never been so much food, and there has never been so much hunger, animals have never been so well protected and yet never treated so badly, and so on, and on to the issue of privacy, never so violated and yet never so obsessively protected. While addressing the rights of future robots, it remains the case that men and women seem to be losing them day by day, with increasing poverty, the loss of liberty and of dignity at work, and where people are forced into dangerous migrations to overcome or be victims of the physical, moral and thought barriers that oppose sentient evolution.

On a planet in which rights are acquired in law, after many struggles, but remain constantly a matter of debate, the thoughts of man turn to that anthropological centrality that is always afforded to the artist, who has the role not of providing the cure but of studying the disease, the syndrome, giving form to conflict and the necessities it gives rise to. It all starting from the form, the changing form, the mutation of the human race as connected to time and its duration.
